Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using ProxifyEdge (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ProxifyEdge is a CORS proxy and API gateway. It forwards HTTP requests you send it to the addresses you name and returns their responses, together with related tools: API keys, allowed-origin rules, a secrets vault, signed URLs, usage reporting and the dashboard.

3. Your account

Some features need an account. You agree to:

  • give accurate information, and keep it up to date;
  • keep your password secure and not share your account;
  • tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission;
  • take responsibility for activity under your account and your API keys.

4. API keys

  • A live key may be used in code that runs in a browser only when you have restricted it to your own origins. A key without that restriction, and any signing secret, must be kept private.
  • Rotate a key or its signing secret as soon as you suspect it has been exposed.
  • You are responsible for requests made with your keys until you rotate them.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
  • access systems, data or accounts you are not authorised to access;
  • send malware, spam or other harmful content;
  • attack, overload or disrupt any system, including the Service, or test its security without our written permission;
  • collect data from websites in breach of their terms;
  • get around rate limits, quotas or other technical restrictions;
  • resell the Service without our written agreement.

We may block requests, keys or accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.

6. Plans, limits and payment

Each plan has the request limits shown on the pricing page. Requests beyond your limits may be refused. Paid plans are billed in advance for each monthly period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price change for your plan.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may carry out maintenance, and we will try to give notice of planned work that affects you. Current health is shown on the status page.

8. Your content

You keep all rights in the data you send through the Service. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our property

The Service, including its software, design and brand, belongs to ProxifyEdge and is protected by law.

10. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PROXIFY IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing us from the address on it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and email account holders about material changes before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
